Stowe School seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of History.
Outstanding and innovative teaching underpins our approach at Stowe. History is an extremely popular subject at Stowe, attracting considerable numbers both at GCSE and A Level. We are seeking a highly qualified, passionate and experienced historian to lead a committed and talented departmental team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of inspirational and effective management and leadership, both in the classroom and amongst colleagues. The successful candidate will also be able to apply for the position of Faculty Chair for the Humanities.
A willingness to contribute fully to the Department while also adding to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of a busy boarding school is essential.
