Queen’s Gate is a thriving GSA day school for girls aged 4 –18 and is ideally situated in Central London to take advantage of the many educational opportunities on offer.
(PART-TIME – 60% OF A FULL TIME-TABLE)
We wish to appoint from September 2015 a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Head of Italian to oversee Italian teaching in both the Junior and Senior Schools. The successful candidate will fully subscribe to target language teaching and learning and will have the ability to teach in an inspiring way and to use resources, including ICT, to further enhance lessons. Experience in teaching to GCSE and A Level and an excellent track record of examination success in both, will be essential.
The successful candidate will be keen to contribute towards the foreign exchange programme and the School’s extensive extra-curricular programme. He/she will also be fully committed to the first class pastoral care that exists within the School and will wish to be actively involved in wider school life.

About Queen's Gate School
Queen's Gate School is an all-through independent day school for girls aged 4-18, housed in five Victorian buildings in South Kensington, London. There are around 500 pupils on roll, with a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of the city.
Queen's Gate School was founded in 1891 by Miss Eleanor Beatrice Wyatt in her parents' home. The present site was acquired in 2005. The school is an educational trust overseen by a board of governors.
