The Governors of St Edmund Campion Catholic School wish to appoint an innovative, creative and highly motivated Mathematics specialist with a proven track record of success; a teacher who will inspire staff to further develop the Mathematics Faculty and to ensure that students achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating high quality teaching and learning throughout the faculty by further developing colleagues’ skills professionally as well as contributing significantly to improving the development of a Mathematics curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Headteacher – Assessment and Achievement (Mathematics and Numeracy across the Curriculum).

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced teachers who have:

  • A good understanding of high quality learning and teaching.
  • Are motivated to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.
  • Able to work closely with colleagues to identify and develop their professional needs.
  • A passion for Mathematics and the learning of Mathematics.

St. Edmund Campion is an 11-18 Comprehensive School, with over 1000 pupils on roll, serving the Catholic community in the north of Birmingham.
