Fowey River Academy is part of Adventure Learning Academy Trust (ALAT), a multi-academy trust set up to raise the standards of education in the South West of England. We are a vibrant, happy school for 11-16 year olds based in the picturesque small town of Fowey in Cornwall. About Fowey River Academy

Fowey River Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Fowey, Cornwall. There are approximately 684 students at the school, between the ages of 11-16.

Fowey River Academy was established in 1692 as Fowey Free School, opening to 30 pupils from low income families. The school has since been a boarding and grammar school throughout the years. In 2014, it received academy status, changing its name from Fowey Community College to Fowey River Academy.
