Set in a stunning location on the banks of the River Mole, within 45 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside, Parkside is a leading independent boys’ Prep School, with co-educational nursery provision.  We provide a wonderful environment where children’s curiosity is awakened. Their journey is one of discovery; where talents and passions are nurtured and developed, and our pupils are encouraged to embrace risk-taking and take responsibility for their learning.  

We are looking to recruit an inspiring, dynamic and experienced teacher who will lead the drama and music department and direct the school productions. There is a currently a strong tradition for inclusive drama and music at the school supported by outstanding facilities, including a performance hall, music studio, peripatetic practice music rooms and stage and lighting within the Gym for full scale productions. 

We are looking for an outstanding professionally qualified teacher to provide:

·         professional leadership and management for the provision of drama and music within the school

·         high quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of learning and achievement in drama and music for all pupils

·         leadership and creative control of all school drama productions, musical arrangements and concerts

·         Liaison with the visiting music and LAMDA teachers within the school

·         Be involved in networking opportunities within the district
