Links is an independent International School established in 1997 and comprising of three campuses, a Pre-School, Primary and Secondary School, whose curriculum is underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage, followed by the British National Curriculum up to and including IGCSE / GCEs. Links is also a member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools).

By maintaining a low child-teacher ratio, Links caters for individual needs and nurtures a love of learning in every child. Links School is seeking to appoint an energetic, innovative leader who has the passion and drive to take on the post of Head of Primary. The role requires someone who is able to work in partnership with the Principal, staff and governors on the next stage of our school development journey. The Primary school currently has around 200 students (4 – 9yrs) and as Head of Primary, you will ensure high quality teaching and learning and excellent pupil progress across the School.

The successful applicant will be:

  • an inspiring leader, coach and mentor with an outstanding academic record and extensive previous experience of headship at primary level. Previous international experience, although desirable, is not essential but applicants should be familiar with, and adaptable to working overseas.
  • knowledgeable and up to date with current education practice, and be committed to own professional development
  • a positive leader with enthusiasm to motivate staff and encourage teamwork
  • a professional with vision, creativity, drive and enthusiasm who will be able to lead strategically and contribute significantly to the continued development of our school
  • an approachable, innovative and confident leader with good interpersonal skills
  • committed to raising pupils’ achievements through setting high standards and promoting effective teaching and learning
  • able to work closely with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and other professionals
  • able to lead on assessment and the monitoring, analysis and evaluation of pupil achievement data

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • B.Ed. (Hons) or PGCE with QTS
  • a minimum of 4 years teaching experience working with Primary aged children
  • leadership and management experience
  • exceptional communication skills / English language skills
  • high levels of ICT capability

About Links School

Links School was established in 1997. In 2001, the school expanded from pre-school to include Links Primary & Secondary School and has since achieved International accreditation and affiliations. Links is an Associate Member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools) and is also a member of the Pre School Learning Alliance.

The school premises consist of three separate buildings i.e the Pre-school, Lower Primary School and the Upper Primary & Secondary School.
All three units are conveniently located in close proximity to each other. The buildings are modern, spacious and decorated in a particular distinctive style. A majority of the educational materials and resources have been imported from the U.S & U.K.
The implementation of an appropriate curriculum delivered by a team of committed teachers in an exceptionally well-equipped environment has been the key to our success.
