Chetwynde School is a co-educational school for children aged 4-18 with an excellent reputation for academic results and outstanding sporting standards. The school converted to a Free School in September 2014

Following five outstanding years at Chetwynde School, securing the successful conversion from an Independent School to Cumbria’s first Free School in September 2014, the current Headmaster is moving on to a new venture. Therefore, the Governing Body of Chetwynde School invite applications for the post of Head of School to take effect from January 2016. The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational leader, with skills to build on the school’s considerable strengths and the ability to continue to lead Chetwynde successfully into the future.
