Job overview

Vision, Faith, Aspiration and Unity.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School due to a hard federation with another Catholic School. We are seeking to appoint an Inspirational ‘Head of School’ to work with the Executive Headteacher to lead the school through the next stage of its development. It will be a challenge but a very rewarding one, with conjoined effort provided by all parties involved with the School.

The School is proud to have children from many backgrounds, heritages and traditions. About half of our children speak English as an additional language and about a quarter are eligible for free school meals.

If you have the vision, the energy and the ambition, we can offer you an unparalleled opportunity to help lead our School on its journey to become outstanding. If you have a love of learning, and are passionate about the success of young people, then St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School may well be your next destination.

We will offer:

  • A very creative and caring environment in a new and remodelled school.
  • Children who are proud of their school and their achievements.
  • Children who love learning and can talk about their learning because it really matters to them.
  • A committed, dedicated and friendly staff.
