About the role:
We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Head of School: English and Maths to provide curriculum and operational leadership for all English and Maths programmes within the Centre for Health, Social and Childcare. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will also act as cross College Lead in Mathematics.
You will manage the whole learner experience within the area of Maths and English classes and undertake responsibility for the management of English and Maths staff. You will promote outstanding standards of teaching learning and challenging underperformance in the pursuit of excellence.
About you:
With a degree and/or equivalent professional qualifications in English or Maths, you will have a recognised teaching qualification and recent successful experience of managing staff including lecturers. You will have an in depth knowledge and understanding of English and Maths programmes from Entry through to level 3 including internal qualifications, Functional Skills and GCSE programmes. You must have the ability to provide dynamic and effective curriculum leadership and the ability to innovate and develop the curriculum.
