We are seeking to appoint an energetic and highly organised Head of Science who will bring their passion and energy to inspire and enthuse students of all abilities.

The successful applicant will teach and promote this core subject across the school and be responsible for leading and developing the department. You will motivate both students and teachers to achieve their full potential. You will have a passion for the subject and be driven to improve student progress. You will nurture your staff, build on our culture of high expectations and promote our motto “ASPIRE AND ACHIEVE”.

Leasowes High School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with a Sixth Form situated in Halesowen, West Midlands. It provides 1,190 places for students aged 11-18 when fully subscribed.

Leasowes High School gained academy status in December 2016 and is part of the multi-academy Invictus Education Trust, along with five other schools in Dudley and South Staffordshire.
