Eton College is seeking to appoint an outstanding singing teacher to take on the role of Head of Singing from January 2016 (or September 2015 if available).
The successful candidate will manage a team of eight singing teachers and support the Director of Music/Precentor in continuing to build on Eton’s fine reputation for vocal music.
Singing has been at the heart of Eton life since it’s foundation in 1440 and there are currently seven choirs catering for different ability levels and age groups. A large number of cathedral/collegiate choristers join the school each year, with many pupils going on to gain choral scholarships when they leave.
The post is 2 days per week, although exact hours will depend on the number of individual singing lessons taught.
