Job overview

We are looking for an exceptional teacher and inspirational leader to manage our Social Sciences department, striving to maintain the high academic expectations of our school and achieve excellent results in these popular subjects.  The role will be responsible for Sociology, Psychology, Criminology and Health and Social Care and therefore offers the opportunity for development for someone seeking the next stage in their career. Social Sciences sits within our Computing and Life Sciences Faculty.

Teaching Sociology to key stage 4 and 5, you will have excellent subject knowledge, be an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher, able to lead with assurance and role model excellent teaching.  You will be a passionate individual, strongly motivated to make yourself an active part of this diverse community.

If you are a qualified teacher who possesses excellent leadership skills gained in a management role, and have experience of teaching Sociology up to A level as well as the ability to oversee exam entries and data, we would love to hear from you.
