The First Federation is seeking to appoint a Head of Teaching and Learning for the largest school in the Multi Academy Trust, Brixington Primary. The School will join the Trust as a Sponsored Academy in September 2015.

The Head of Teaching and Learning is the educational leader of the School whose core focus is the quality of teaching and learning and will work within a highly supportive leadership team under the Executive Leadership of Paul Jones OBE.

We are seeking to appoint someone who wants to make a difference for children, hone and develop their leadership skills and attributes and work in a truly distributed leadership system. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate to become the leader of a school that has been given a fresh start and aims to be 'Outstanding' within three years. This is also an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing Multi Academy Trust which has two 'Outstanding' schools, a designated Teaching School, Primary Excellence, and a National Support School.
