Steeped in more than 300 years of history and set in 200 acres of idyllic Suffolk countryside, The Royal Hospital School is a unique and successful HMC co-educational boarding and day school with some 690 pupils aged 11 – 18 years.

Following an excellent recent ISI inspection, The Royal Hospital School can now look forward with reinforced confidence.  A major Capital Development Plan will shortly be unveiled which will enhance the School’s infrastructure and further enrich the teaching and learning environment.

The Chairman and Governors invite applications for the post of Head for January or April 2016 to succeed Mr James Lockwood after six years’ of outstanding service to the School.
