The Governors of Gayhurst School are looking for a confident new Head Teacher with exceptional leadership qualities who is highly motivated and has a passion for co-education alongside exemplary teaching skills. The current Head, who has transformed the school during his highly successful 22 years tenure, wishes to retire by September 2016.

Gayhurst is a happy and thriving independent co-educational school with 350 children aged 3-11. The school strives to give its pupils the best start in life by treating each child as an individual and giving every pupil the opportunity to achieve their potential in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits. Enjoying excellent facilities and with a team of committed and enthusiastic staff, the children achieve strong academic results and progress to both the local grammar schools and to senior schools, both day and boarding, in the independent sector.
