Head Teacher

Coln House School is a weekly residential/day school for 35 boys and girls aged 9-16 with severe behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. Situated in the growing market town of Fairford in the Cotswolds (9 miles from Cirencester, 15 miles from Swindon and 25 miles from Gloucester) this is a ‘good’ school with ‘outstanding’ features ‘where all groups of pupils make good progress in all aspects of their learning’ (Ofsted Inspection Report 2013).

Owing to the retirement of the current Head Teacher, the Governors wish to appoint a dynamic, energetic and committed Head Teacher to continue the school’s drive towards excellence in the academic, personal and social development of its pupils.

The post is residential and on-site accommodation is provided. The successful candidate will be expected to occupy these premises for the better performance of his or her duties.
