John Fielding Community Special School for pupils with severe learning difficulties is an over-subscribed maintained school which is highly regarded in the Boston community and has an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’. Our Children are looking for a Headteacher who:

• Is genuinely interested in their diverse range of abilities.
• Can ensure their emotional needs are identified and fully supported alongside their educational and behavioural needs.
• Enables them all to achieve their full potential.

Our Staff need you to:

• Have the vision to promote the highest standards of teaching, learning, pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Be enthusiastic, to encourage parents and carers to work in partnership with the school and to engage in their children's learning.
• Be able to support and further cultivate the team working approach throughout the school.

Our Governing Body is looking for someone who can:

• Build on the existing strengths to move the school to an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
• Demonstrate excellent strategic planning and sound financial management.
• Lead the school forward on its journey of growth and expansion.
• Work in collaboration with other schools and continue strong relationships with the local and wider community.
