Head Teacher/Principal

Our International School of King Salman North Western Armed Forces Hospital is a non-profit making international school situated in the city of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, which is close to Jordan and Egypt. The school offers British based curriculum, including Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE and A Levels. Our students has approximately 460 students aged from 4-19 from over 15 diverse nationalities. Our establishment is coeducational with an Islamic ethos. The students are well behaved and mannered, who have achieved excellent academic results over the last decade. The school administration is seeking a head teacher/principal who can manage the continuing expansion and to drive the school from good to outstanding.

As our Head Teacher the candidate will:

• Inspire a strong leadership team and staff
• Spearhead our vision to move from good to outstanding, bringing "forward-thinking" learning practices into play so that our children continue to be inspired
• Work closely with staff, parents, the director, the education department and the wider community, to continue to lead the school's self-evaluation.
• Review and implement the school improvement and development plan.
• Continue to build on our successful educational environment, looking for ways to re-shape and innovate to meet the challenges that the school and education may face.
• Be a UK qualified head teacher or deputy head with significant senior level school experience from a good or outstanding school.
• Passionate about the development of children, but also how to meet and exceed them.
• Drive the school's vision while contributing your own individual flair to our evolving school.
• Provide a clear vision and an uncompromising dedicationto achieving it.
• Preferable to have relevant experience in KSA or the Middle East with an understanding of Saudi culture and customs.
