The English Academy in Kuwait is looking for a motivated and skilled Headmaster to lead its school starting the academic year of 2015/2016.  Qualified candidates should hold at least a Master’s degree in Education and a minimum of 5 years as a Headmaster.

The English Academy in Kuwait has a tradition of providing an outstanding environment of education and holds accreditation from British Schools of the Middles East (BSME) and British Schools Overseas (BSO).  It currently has more than 1500 students enrolled in classes from KG to Year 13. 

Kuwait City enjoys a cosmopolitan lifestyle with high end shopping malls, restaurants in a safe environment.  The salary benefits and terms of contract will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience sought in the candidate. The English Academy is an all-through school, catering for students from KG to pre-university level, whose motto is Sapientia, Scientia, Diligentia – Wisdom, Knowledge, Diligence.  It is an accredited British Schools Overseas school & is a member of the Association of British Schools Overseas.  The school’s vision is to be recognised as an outstanding school.  The school is also a member of British Schools in the Middle East [BSME] & has competed in a number of events including Poetry Recital & Mathletics, which it won.

TEA offers a range of extra-curricular activities including the Duke of Edinburgh Award [International Award] & Model United Nations conferences.  Students take part in sporting activities organised by the school’s PE department as well as by external organisations such as ISAK, KSAK & BSME, winning a host of competitions such as the U19 volleyball [boys], Year 6 Basketball [girls], Year 5/6 Benchball [girls] & U15 football [boys].

The school’s vision is supplemented by its mission, to provide a learning experience that will encourage students to be successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens with a global perspective.

The Academy works in partnership with Educational Success Partnerships [ESP] to successfully deliver the Early Career Teachers programme along with the Assessment Only route.
