The governors, teachers, parents and pupils of Hawthorn Park Community Primary School are looking to appoint a new Headteacher for September 2015, when our highly successful and dedicated Headteacher is set to retire.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced school leader to drive Hawthorn Park through its next stage of development from good to outstanding. We are an expanding Primary School with excellent and valued community links and we require a Headteacher who has strong vision, drive and commitment to achieve this goal.

Hawthorn Park Community Primary School is a lively and happy school with excellent, motivated teachers and support staff, with expanding facilities including The Jigsaw Behaviour Support Unit and the local Childrens' Centre.

We need a Headteacher to value every child and ensure each and everyone achieves their very best.

The successful candidate will have:

• The ability to promote excellent standards of teaching and learning.
• A clear strategic vision for improving the school's effectiveness and raising standards through strong and exceptional leadership and management.
