Christ the King Catholic and Church of England Primary School is now a well established joint Church school having opened in 2009 and has enjoyed a new purpose built school since 2011.

As a joint Church school we celebrate the similarities of our Church traditions while exploring and respecting our differences. We focus on building a community, as Jesus did, which calls children and everyone associated with the school, to strive to be fully rounded human beings and the best they were created to be. We expect every member of the community to attain the best they can in academic terms and in terms of their development as a person. Academic standards are important as part of a whole picture.

We are looking for a practising Catholic or Anglican leader who will inspire our school community to move from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’ and who:

• Has a strong commitment to our school’s Christian ethos.
• Has excellent management and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, challenge and inspire staff.
• Will promote a strong sense of engagement with parents, parish and the wider community.
• As an excellent classroom practitioner is able to inspire and motivate all children to make great progress and achieve their personal best.
