Borough Road Nursery School is one of two maintained nursery schools in Darlington and is situated in the centre of the town. The nursery school is in an old infant school building that has been transformed inside to be as attractive and as stimulating to the nursery child as possible. It has its own, surprisingly large, grounds which are designed for this age group.

Borough Road Nursery School offers an exciting and engaging curriculum, which fully meets the unique needs of each child. The nursery school offers 104 places for 3-4 year olds and 48 places for 2 year olds on a flexible basis, also charging for extra hours.

As a result of the retirement of the Head Teacher, Governors are looking for a new Head Teacher to promote and maintain the success of this very sought after nursery school.

The successful candidate will be someone able to lead an experienced and highly motivated team, have an in-depth understanding of Early Years and be an excellent early years practitioner. They will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and will be able to ensure all staff share this commitment.
