Following the retirement of our Head teacher we are now looking to appoint an experienced and inspirational leader who will be committed to the important role of managing the strategic development and drive the school to outstanding.

Behaviour within the school and the positive attitude to learning displayed by pupils is described by Ofsted (2013) as good, helping pupils to work hard, learn well and achieve. Excellent results were achieved in SATS 2014, Roe Farm came the top value added school in Derby City.

• An inspirational and ambitious leader who motivates and supports staff and children alike.
• Passionate that each child reaches the maximum of their potential.
• Able to motivate children to learn and achieve, through developing a culture of outstanding teaching and assessment.
• Approachable with a clear vision of how to build and manage a high performing team.
• Able to set high standards and is ambitious for all children at Roe Farm Primary School with a clear commitment to improvement.
• Able to generate and implement a clear educational vision and strategic school plan across the 3-11 age range.
