Breadsall Hill Top Primary School is a good school with outstanding features, and we are proud of the progress of the school has made. Excellent leadership and high quality teaching have created an environment where all pupils can thrive. The school is large with 490 pupils on roll, and it is envisaged that the number of pupils on roll is going to increase significantly.

Behaviour within the school and the excellent attitude to learning displayed by pupils is described by Ofsted (2013) as exemplary, helping pupils to work hard, learn well and achieve.

As part of an ongoing investment in the school over the last year, and following recent amalgamation, 7 state of the art classrooms have been built, significant remodelling and refurbishment has taken place and the whole school has benefitted from very significant investment.

We are now looking to appoint an experienced and inspirational leader who will be committed to the important role of managing the strategic development and future success of our school.

• Able to generate and implement a clear educational vision and strategic school plan across the 3-11 age range.
