Governors are looking for a friendly, reflective and positive person willing to lead our team in a school to maintain its outstanding status. Come and lead a dedicated, creative and supportive team who are forward thinking and energetic in their approach to teaching. As the Head of the lead school in the Nottingham Catholic Teaching School Alliance we are looking for someone who is able to take a strategic leadership role in developing the work of the Nottingham Catholic Teaching School Alliance.    

The Directors of the South Nottingham Catholic Academy Trust and the Local Governing Body are seeking to appoint a practising Catholic with a clear vision of and strong commitment to Catholic primary education to the post of Headteacher at Blessed Robert Widmerpool School, a Catholic Voluntary Academy.

The successful candidate will be:

  • a practising Catholic with a clear vision of and strong commitment to Catholic primary education;
  • able to lead, develop and inspire our hardworking and committed staff, to maintain our ‘outstanding’ status in both its academic and pastoral roles;
  • able to work in partnership with other schools in the Academy Trust;
  • able to take a strategic leadership role in developing the work of the Nottingham Catholic Teaching School Alliance.
