Headteacher

The Governors of Forty Hill wish to appoint an enthusiastic, visionary and inspirational Headteacher to lead this successful school as it commences the next phase of its development. A new nursery will open in September 2015 and the successful candidate will be expected to lead and deliver a smooth merger of this into our school community.

We will be looking for someone who:

• is an experienced Headteacher or a Deputy looking for their first headship,
• would relish the vocation of leading the school as we incorporate the new nursery into our school community
• can effectively develop our vision for the school, communicate it to staff and the wider school community, and implement that vision
• has a demonstrable track record of delivering successful change
• is both a leader and a team player who is able to form strong working relationships to inspire and motivate others
• is committed to uphold the foundation of the school as a Church of England Aided school, with the capacity to sustain and develop the Christian ethos and character
• is dedicated to the achievement of high educational standards and is committed to improving educational attainment for all
• is an outstanding classroom practitioner
• has experience of Early Years practice and can lead across the nursery and primary age range
• will uphold and develop the school's supportive community ethos
