Values and vision
Rookwood School has a Christian ethos, which is reflected upon in its regular assemblies. Children of all faiths are actively welcomed. Students are taught that they should give respect to adults and expect to receive respect in return.
The school’s motto, "Sapere Aude", can be translated as "dare to know" or "have courage to understand". Teachers challenge pupils to have the courage to learn new things and to develop new skills.
