Job overview

To move continuous improvement up a gear, we need you in the driving seat.

These are interesting times for Earlham Primary School. Having been found to Require Improvement during our last Ofsted inspection in June 2013, we’ve transformed the way we think and work. Last year’s Key Stage 2 results led to the LEA dissolving the Governing Body and appointing an Interim Executive Board to drive transformation and bring about rapid improvement in all aspects of our performance.

Relishing the biggest challenge of your career, you will build on our success in improving pupils’ aspirations and creating a culture of achievement. You’ll also be central to revolutionising our learning environment, as we have been included on the DfE’s second wave list within the Priority School Building Programme.

We’re looking for a leader with exceptional vision, tenacity, creativity and drive. Your incisive mind will enable you to identify where we’re going wrong and your involving approach to management will enthuse everyone as we continue to change. Already a head teacher, acting head or deputy head, you will be a great classroom practitioner and effective partnership builder, and you’ll be adept in getting the most from both people and budgets. Above all, you will be a powerful agent of change who can articulate a positive future and then make it happen.

School visits are warmly encouraged and can be arranged via Zaka in the school office on 020 8888 2780 from week commencing 13th April.
