Strong ambassadorial skills are essential, as is the capacity to uphold high expectations for students in terms of achievement, learning and behaviour.

The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate a genuine resonance with the school's ethos and values.

Abbs Cross Academy and Arts College is a vastly over-subscribed, 840 student co-educational foundation 11-16 comprehensive school serving Elm Park and Hornchurch. 10% places are allocated for aptitude in the performing arts, with siblings and students from within a close proximity (<1km) making the 168 places in each year.
