Tanners Wood is in Hertfordshire, a local authority that is proud of the success of education in this county.  Abbots Langley in South West Hertfordshire is a great place to build a career.

The area gives you the best of both worlds: you’re never far from the picturesque countryside, but you also get the benefit of being less than half-an-hour’s train journey away from the centre of London. In particular, Abbots Langley’s close proximity to both the M25 and the M1 makes commuting – as well as more long-distance travel – very easy.

There is plenty of good quality housing stock for single occupancy or for a growing family.  The area is rated highly for quality of life and affordable cost of living.
