Due to the promotion of the current Headteacher, the Governors are looking to recruit someone to lead the school on the next part of its journey. They are looking for a leader who is committed to working in partnership with governors, parents and the wider local community.
Hermitage is an Ofsted rated 'GOOD' school (July 2014) based in the heart of Uxbridge. The school is at an exciting moment in its life having recently expanded to a two form entry primary and having benefited from a complete rebuild.The amazing new building and grounds will be complete by the summer term and the successful candidate will join a happy school with modern facilities, including a central Learning Hub, food technology room, MUGA and playing fields.
We are looking for a person who:
- Can demonstrate a clear understanding of how to move the school to 'Outstanding'.
- Has the drive and passion to motivate staff and pupils, the strength to hold staff to account and the ambition to continue to raise standards.
- Is able to communicate the vision of the school to all stakeholders.
- Understands and values the contributions of families to the school community.
