Headteacher

Due to the retirement of the current post holder, the Governors of this 'outstanding' Nursery School are seeking to appoint a Headteacher with effect from 1 January 2016.

We wish to appoint a Headteacher who will:

• be able to provide a substantial teaching commitment
• be passionate about teaching and learning and believe in developing and encouraging the true potential of our children
• build on our many strengths and achievements and lead us into the next stage of our development
• be inspirational and a committed leader to work in partnership with our experienced and dedicated team of staff
• have the ability, desire and dedication to maintain links with and be approachable to parents, Governors and the wider community.

Ightenhill Nursery School is a well-established Nursery with a large outdoor area and is in the process of developing a Forest School within its grounds.

The Nursery also has Munchkins Club which provides 15 funded hours a week for eligible two year olds and full day care (at an additional cost) for children aged 3 and over.
