About the School
Matthew Arnold Primary School is situated in the Dingle area of Liverpool, with a riverside location, close to the city. It serves a vibrant, welcoming community in an area undergoing extensive regeneration. The school and its extended facilities reflect this forward looking vision. Currently, in addition to the school itself, the large site offers a 20 resourced place Speech and Language Unit, a Children's Centre, Matthew Arnold Primary School Day Care Nursery and Initial Teacher Training as the lead school in a School Direct ITT programme. We are also part of the DGT Collaborative Schools Network and play a full role in the operation of that group.

About the Role
Due to retirement, the Governors, children and parents wish to appoint an energetic, creative and inspiring Headteacher who has the vision to lead the school to the next phase of its development. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to build on the successes achieved to date and develop its future direction and place in the community.
