The family of St Ambrose is a learning community rooted in the Catholic faith. Working together as a community we seek to provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for all inspired by Gospel values.

After many years of dedicated leadership our highly respected Headteacher will be retiring this Summer and so the governors, staff and children of St Ambrose Roman Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational, effective and enthusiastic individual to lead our ‘good’ school. (Ofsted June 2013)

We are seeking someone who will:

• Be a practising Catholic who will uphold our strong spiritual and moral values, both in and outside the classrooms
• Have the drive and vision to promote and inspire the highest standards of teaching and learning for all our pupils.
• Have a strong visible presence throughout the school
• Inspire and motivate our staff and children to achieve their full potential within a caring and nurturing environment
• Have a sense of humour and a positive attitude to challenge
