Situated in Bletchley, Knowles Nursery School is well established and highly-regarded.  The community we serve is diverse, with more than 50% of the children using English as their second or third language.

Our school is committed to maintaining high levels of well-being and engagement with our children and their families.  We are fortunate to have an excellent learning environment with large outdoor facilities, allowing for free flow independent learning.

Co-located with Saplings Children Centre and our neighbouring primary school, we work effectively with these partners and we want our successful applicant to use their skills and experience to nurture and develop these relationships for the benefit of all the children and families in our community.

Our current Headteacher is leaving in July 2015 and governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic individual to lead our experienced staff team, delivering our vision for Knowles Nursery.  Our ideal candidate will share our values, principles and aspirations for every child and will have the confidence and drive to:

• Strive for excellence, having high expectations for all
• Ensure children are happy and enthusiastic learners, as a priority.
• Continue to develop effective partnerships with our families.

Governors wish to appoint an existing headteacher or an experienced deputy with an extensive knowledge of early years.  In return we are offering a unique opportunity to build on firm foundations and, with a supportive governing body, to shape the future of our school.
