Situated in rural Buckinghamshire to the north of Milton Keynes and rooted in its community, Hanslope Primary School is a village school with global aspirations for all our pupils. Our vision is to equip them for a lifetime of learning in today’s diverse and rapidly-changing world.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to help us build on our strengths and to:

  • Identify where improvements are needed to take our school forward to outstanding
  • Further develop our child-centred approach to learning, engendering high aspirations in all through delivery of a rich and varied curriculum
  • Challenge, motivate and inspire our experienced and committed staff team
  • Engage with parents and the wider community, maintaining and growing relationships for the benefit of children.

You will be a confident leader, with experience as a Headteacher or a deputy and a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. In return for your commitment, we can offer the successful candidate:

  • An able and experienced staff team, who know their children and are keen to help every child reach their full potential
  • An active governing body who will offer you support and challenge in equal measures encouraging you to try new things as you take the school forward
  • Well-behaved students who are happy to be at school
  • A parent body that is engaged and involved in school life.
