The governors of Riccall Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a full time permanent headteacher with the energy, vision and drive to lead our school, children, staff and parents, in our journey from good to outstanding. If you are a positive, innovative, ambitious individual who is an inspirational and dedicated leader then we look forward to hearing from you.

Our school is welcoming, safe and supportive. We want to encourage the joy of learning so our pupils carry on learning for the rest of their lives.

We actively welcome interest from existing headteachers who are looking to further their career and also deputy heads who are looking for their first headship.

The governors are seeking a Headteacher who will inspire and challenge our staff and pupils and who is:

  • excited to join our school and who will continue supporting and listening to all our pupils, parents and other groups
  • an excellent head teacher who is happy, positive and approachable
  • driven, has vision and ambition whilst recognising the school’s continuity and strengths
  • approachable, flexible and understanding towards the needs of the children and staff whilst helping them to develop their full potential

  • able to maintain positive links with all stakeholders including the local community and other networks.
