The school is rated ‘Good’ (OFSTED 2012), and is making higher than the county average in attainment and progress for both key stages .We want to build and improve on this, but we are also focused on promoting life-long learning for all pupils not just results. We want to ensure that everyone is recognised for their strengths and talents as well as reaching their academic potential.

  • Possess the skills required to lead, value, develop and manage an effective team with enthusiasm and continuous drive towards excellence.
  • Display exceptional communication skills.
  • Be committed to ensuring that best practice is delivered in all aspects of school life and lead by example.
  • Be a forward thinking trustee of Hawthorn Extended Services (charity) that is responsible for our playschool and before, afterschool and holiday clubs.

WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • A strong, creative curriculum with a talented teaching team.
  • A school that has a positive approach to change and new initiatives that will add to and complement our existing strengths.
