Havelock Junior School is part of the Montsaye Community Learning Partnership, a Multi-Academy Trust of 8 schools, based in North Northamptonshire. The school currently has 342 pupils. The Trust Board and School Local Governing Body are looking to appoint a passionate and inspirational head who will move the school from Requiring Improvement to Good and beyond. The successful candidate will have vision and proven interpersonal skills, identifying positively with pupils, staff and parents/carers.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven, strong teaching and leadership skills which will inspire pupils, staff and parents/carers
  • Have the ability to enhance teaching and learning in a dynamic and innovative way
  • Show a commitment to developing new, flexible and effective approaches to teaching and learning which will ensure high standards across the school
  • Have high expectations of all staff and pupils
  • Be committed to providing continuous professional development for all staff so that they achieve their full potential
  • Demonstrate an ability to act collaboratively and objectively with schools both within and outside the Trust in order to improve the school’s potential
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will enthuse staff and empower them to use fresh and new ideas and strategies which will be of benefit to all
