Job overview
Ashmole Academy Trust runs a secondary school which is ranked as one of the most successful secondary schools in the country. In September, The Guardian newspaper named Ashmole as one of the nine most successful schools nationally. Ashmole Academy is an ‘outstanding’ school praised by Ofsted for its visionary leadership, excellent standards and exemplary team work.
The Governors of Ashmole Academy Trust have announced an extension to its educational excellence and will be opening a primary free school, on site, in September 2016, subject to the approval of the Secretary of State.
Required from January or April 2016, we are looking to appoint an outstanding Headteacher who has the skills and experience to develop a new primary school. The successful candidate will provide a professional leadership and management for Ashmole Primary, will have the ambition and drive to achieve the highest standards of pupil achievement, pupil conduct and staff performance. The primary school will open in September 2016 with a two form reception of 60 pupils rising to a full school of 420.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a new school, and promote innovative and creative approaches to primary education while taking advantage of the links with Ashmole Academy secondary school.
Please telephone for further details and an application form. Alternatively, details of the school are available on our website www.ashmoleacademy.org where you can download an application form and email to kfo@ashmoleacademy.org.
