Longnor CE Primary School is a thriving, small school, located in an attractive village in south Shropshire. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic professional to build on our “Outstanding” status.

This post requires the successful candidate to be willing to undertake a regular teaching commitment, currently equivalent to 0.3FTE.

This is a unique opportunity to work in an outstanding school providing rich and challenging learning experiences for children who want to learn. The well-developed school grounds with outdoor learning areas provide a stimulating learning environment.

• can think strategically, will share and develop plans for the future of an inclusive school, with evidence of recent leadership training e.g. NPQH
• will inspire and motivate the school community with a creative leadership style in an open, consistent and approachable manner
• is an excellent classroom practitioner, able to role model outstanding teaching skills
• has energy, passion and commitment to improve outcomes for all our pupils with a genuine interest in the whole development of every child
• will have the vision to promote and inspire high quality teaching and learning with a proven track record of excellence in improving outcomes for children
• will be committed to nurturing Christian values and the Christian character of a Church of England school
• will build on and enhance links with the local neighbourhood and wider community
• will embrace opportunities to extend our provision
