The governors of Burford Church of England Primary School invite applications for the post of Head Teacher for our successful and happy, rural school.

The successful candidate will have a track record of raising standards and will demonstrate the ambition necessary to drive our school forwards.

We are looking for a headteacher who will:

• Lead our school with energy, passion and vision
• Maintain our culture of high expectations, attainment and progress
• Motivate our experienced and committed team
• Enhance the excellent teaching practice throughout the school
• Possess robust monitoring and evaluation skills, enabling the formulation of well-focussed development plans
• Lead and build upon the Christian ethos of the school, continuing to work closely with the church and diocese
