The Triple Crown Centre is a small school for students aged 11-16 who are unable to access mainstream education due to medical needs.

In September 2023 we expanded our remit from thirty-two students to forty, which includes both in school and a remote / home-based cohort. This recent change has allowed us to build on the success of the school, with a wider offer, that meets the needs of all Solihull secondary age students with medical needs, rather than just the number of young people our building currently allows.

Due to the planned retirement of our existing Headteacher, the Management Board is now seeking to recruit a successor to build on the successful introduction of our new remit. As a role model to staff, you will be a strategic and innovative leader with passion and drive to succeed.

It is imperative that the Headteacher is someone who:

  • Is passionate about education and the difference it makes to young people’s lives.
  •  Is in possession of, or currently working towards the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
  • Will embrace new challenges and capitalise on opportunities presented.
  • Has a successful track-record in leading and developing colleagues.
  • Can provide evidence of exemplary teaching and learning opportunities for students in Key Stages 3 and 4, up to and including GCSE accreditation.
  • Has experience of working with vulnerable young people with social and emotional needs.
  • Has the safety and wellbeing of students at the heart of everything that we do.
  •  Is committed to working collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, the Management Board, the Local Authority and external agencies.

In return, we can offer:

  • An exciting opportunity to:
  • Further your ambition within the profession.
  • Lead the schools’ future growth and development, supported by a Deputy Headteacher and experienced staff.
  • Build on the solid and sustained foundations of the school, laid by the existing Headteacher.
  • A well-established and successful school, with high aspirations for students and staff.
  • A welcoming, friendly, hard-working and cohesive staff team, who are dedicated to making a difference to students in their care.
  • A highly supportive Management Board.
  • A commitment to your continuing professional development.

You are very welcome to visit our school during week beginning Monday 8th
