Headteacher

Due to the impending retirement of our longstanding headteacher, Wembdon St George’s School seeks to appoint a caring and inspirational leader to build on the strategic development and ethos of this highly effective and happy expanding village school. We are situated on the western side of Bridgwater, at the edge of the beautiful Quantock hills with easy links to the M5 motorway.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide outstanding leadership of our valued team and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Understand, value and develop the strong Christian ethos of our school;
• Maintain and strengthen the distinct caring family character of the school
• Nurture each child’s individuality through the continued development of our broad and creative curriculum;
