Job overview

We require a full time Headteacher to provide excellent leadership for our small village school from September 2015. We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who will, with a clear vision of ethos and values, develop an outstanding school.

You will:

  • provide strong strategic leadership, driven by a clear understanding of current national and regional best practice in education
  • develop the potential of each pupil using creative and outstanding teaching and learning strategies
  • enhance our pupils’ aspirations to be confident and independent learners
  • work collaboratively with the Headteachers within our partnership to raise standards in a far wider catchment area
  • be creative, motivational and caring in response to the needs of pupils and staff
  • nurture links both with parents and with our local community
  • provide effective organisation and management of the school, staff and resources with the use of appropriate monitoring
  • be able to provide outstanding classroom teaching to support our staff.
