This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and inspirational leader to build on the strengths of our highly successful rural primary school as we move forward to become a full primary by 2016.

The governors seek to appoint an inspirational and strategic Headteacher with the ability to lead teaching and learning both by example and the effective use of data.

The governors, staff and parents are looking for a Headteacher who:

  • will lead by example with enthusiasm and creativity drawing on their own expertise and that of those around them
  • can lead the school in its transition to include upper KS2 pupils – the current Year 4 group is due to become our first Year 5 class in September 2015.

The children are looking for a Headteacher who will:

  • engage and challenge them so they can achieve their full potential
  • provide an exciting and stimulating curriculum
  • be creative and innovative.
