Job overview

Due to the retirement of our current Headteacher, the Governors at Dale Hall wish to appoint a new Headteacher. We are looking for a committed leader to build on the school's current achievements and successes to move it forward into its next stage of development. You will be a leader who has a proven track record for excellence in teaching and learning; you will have strong leadership skills and be dedicated, forward thinking and hard working. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong and inspirational leader, both professionally and personally, to make a difference to the lives of all within our school community.

You will:

  • be a passionate, committed educator who will inspire, model and promote the highest standards of teaching, learning, achievement and behaviour
  • have the ability to provide strong strategic leadership
  • lead by example with enthusiasm and creativity, drawing on your own expertise and that of those around you
  • have a proven track record of excellent practice in teaching and learning
  • enhance our children's aspirations to be confident and independent learners
