Job overview

Broadlands Hall School is a purpose built, highly specialised school catering for up to 20 boys, aged 11-19 years, all of whom are on the autistic spectrum. The School is set in the beautiful grounds of Broadlands Hall Care Home where most of the young people live.

The School is very well resourced and is staffed by a dedicated team of teachers and LSAs. There is a strong senior management team and the Head is well supported.

Due to retirement of the current post-holder, we are now looking for a dynamic and motivated Head to lead the School forward. Ideally, you will have had experience within a special needs setting in a management role but this post may also suit somebody looking for a first Headship.

The salary for the post is in the region of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

The closing date for this post is 19 June 2015 and an Application Pack can be downloaded here. Alternatively, please contact Mrs Lesley Gundersen either via email lpg@barnardiston-hall.co.uk or by telephone on 01440 786316.
