We are immensely proud of providing a curriculum and learning environment that is rich in its Christian distinctiveness where children thrive and develop a love of learning.

We are looking to recruit a Headteacher who will:

  • Be a creative and inspirational leader who has our pupils learning, emotional wellbeing and happiness at the heart of every decision.

  • Be committed to the further development of a balanced and varied curriculum that sustains a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning.
  • Be highly visible and approachable to all members of the school community.

We can offer:

  • Highly motivated and well behaved pupils who have a very positive attitude to learning.
  • A passionate and highly talented team with high expectations of what pupils can achieve and a commitment to inspirational teaching.
  • A very supportive and effective Governing Body.
  • An environment that supports the strong spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of our children.

Key Challenges:

  • Develop the skills of additional adults in the classroom so that they can accurately judge pupil progress to assist teachers in their formal assessments (Ofsted 2015).
  • Continue to narrow the gap in attainments between groups.
  • Improve the delivery of ICT within lessons and its use across the curriculum.
  • Develop and constantly refine a robust assessment system to contend with ‘life without levels’.
  • Ensure all teachers pursue continuous professional development and possess the skills and motivation to deliver a varied curriculum.
