We currently have a vacancy for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Trumpington Park Primary School. You will be working as part of a welcoming, highly talented and supportive team. Your role will be varied, including whole-class teaching using our fantastic lesson resources, small booster/group interventions and you will be participating in the marking and assessment of pupils’ work. This is a highly valued role in our wonderful school and you will be well supported in your work by our SENDCo, Teaching Assistant team as well as class teachers. Midday supervision of pupils may also be included in the role and a willingness to undergo first-aid training would be desirable.

The ideal candidate:

  •  HLTA teaching qualification
  • Experience of teaching Key Stage One/Two in an HLTA role
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • Is willing to try out new ideas
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
